3rd cup of Joe here...........Son's 1st basketball game at 9, he woke me up at 5 too excited to sleep, gave up my bed he turned on the electric blanket.......-17 with the wind chill :scared
One happy kid! Won 29-18 and scored 3 points........Grinning ear to ear :00hour
FANTASTIC! My son has been at an early kids practice for I would guess kids about your son's age - mine is a sophomore and we have a great program working with younger kids, with the older ones mandatorily helping out a few times each year. Really keeps the program going and responsible.
Nothing like those little guys getting those big baskets!!! I remember those days fondly... congrats. Lemme buy you a couple today. Home all weekend, wife is gone on a scrapbooking weekend, gonna study and slam some cold ones and stay inside all weekend.:toast:

Hey, Sports - I forgot to ask - did he sink a free throw, or drop a three from "way downtown?" Either is nice for a young kid. How old is he?

Doing well, Kneifel, have accomplished a lot on the to-do list today, and kicking back a little with some brews and watching the KU K-State game which looks like a winner here. I remember a couple lost nights spent at K-State when my friend went to school there - if they pull this one off tonight, Manhattan will go crazy.

Saw where that moran McKinnie got kicked off the Pro Bowl team for skipping practices and hitting the Strip Clubs in Miami. What a joke he is - I'm now hoping they get rid of that loser, despite his size. Embarrassment to the Vikings - and THAT's saying something...

Trevor stole the ball, drove 3/4 court, laid it up & in and was hacked! Sank the FT, & was smiling the rest of the day!
He had a couple other chances to score (hacked, ref's are blind :shrug: ) but for a 9 yr old he's one happy camper :00hour

I know, it sucks. Oh well there's always next year but I say that every year - my team always finds a way to fuck up a good season in the end. Your Vikes played real well this year, wouldn't be surprised to see Childress get a contract extension (I know you probably don't want him too). I wish somehow we could get a new coach and demote Phillips to def coordinator, that would be sweet to get someone like cowher at the helms.
On another note, went to get a haircut today and everybody must be taking the day off. Closed due to snow. Ordered two pizzas from dominos and they took over an hour to get here, and were ice cold and doughy when they got here - might complain about that. Not my day I guess, kicking back and watching some tube right now.

He's been extended (Childress) through 2013 already, so that's done. I am one of the few that think he is deserving of it up here - we'll see what he's made of if all hell breaks loose next year. It could get much worse with no Favre, Fat Pat retiring, Chester Taylor signing somewhere else, and McKinnie continuing to spiral down the drain. Also, Henderson (MLB) and now Cedric Griffin out with serious injuries that should last into the start of next season. Could get ugly, fast, or could go well again. Crossing my fingers.
I would think Jones would make a play for one of the big dogs hanging out there. Cowher or Gruden would be good down in Big D, I would think.
