Jack...this has to be a strange spot in MJ's Forum life as one capper has brought A LOT OF VIEWER'S attention to Madjack's forum as he switched from other sites to MJ ....personally i hope he does the same as many already do here...contribute in a goodwill manner.
Thing is, you are getting such a bunch of hits i believe this volume of new users aren't accustomed with this site and they may or may not contribute to the well being of OUR home forum ( i feel it that way) .
I'm not saying bigger isn't better but the global village syndrome may arise...too many different cultures, interests and oppinions and bashing and whatever ....and you in the middle of it.
Just my 2 cents ....hope you say everyone is wellcome ( i might add , as long as the Forum keeps its well kept original form and status )

Newbies will play by the rules that we have had in place since the beginning or they can hit the road.

As far as all the new hits the newbie is getting, I am highly skeptical, if you know what I mean.

So far, he's loud but winning so let's see what happens. :SIB

I've researched ways to increase page views. Currently spanning 8 forums with active links and using RSS feeds or mass emails, and well, anything is possible...

He sure spends a lot of time in his own thread and when he's not in his own thread the hits slow down ;)

The easiest way to do this is to create a page, using .NET and put in a call to create an IE app with anonymous ip and then redirect to his thread with a set scripting vb loop from 1 to 50,000.

But that's what I'd do:SIB

Listen folks, I was getting over 100,000 hits per day on another forum site, but took some time off after I had a falling out with the site owner - went and got shitty for a month at the Marriott in St. Thomas, Virgin Island. Came back and now I'm here.

This isn't some big conspiracy - and I'm not trying to take over MadJack

I have 13 forums now linking to MadJack to see my plays. I am linking my own website to MadJack and I send out almost 20,000 emails a day to Goodfellas on my mailing list that link to MadJack. I also blog my shit, and put my MadJack posts (links) in the universal handicappers network which goes out to over 300,000 people a day. I am good at what I do. I am a club owner. I work and fuck at night. Eat in the morning, and fuck around on the internet the rest of the day picking winners cuz I'm young, hung, and ALL ABOUT THE DOE!!!!!

As far as the Global Village thing... what could possibly be more global than wanting to make money??? We all want to make money right??? I pick winners and have fun doing it.

Jack thanks for having my back bro, you're legit!!!:toast:

Maybe you can sell ad space on my threads and throw me a bone ;)

after all IS said and done ....still this humble opinion stands .... i didn't see any good came out of this ALLEGED MULTITUDE of "viewers" and overpriced (points bought ....ugh) picks and i think i won't ....may have had a couple of laughs with comments but enough is enough ...will resume by simply ignoring that thread and encourage all to do same ...let's look at better things to do mates ... than bash a kid :nono: with greatness pretenses :142smilie
