do you spread it yourself..

how many cubic yards..

great exercise..:00hour
I didn't do it at all last year so have to figure it out again. House is 85' long by 45' deep and I guess about 4' out with mulch across the front and down 1 side. A couple spots go out about 10' and I have 6 trees to mulch around. I hate the thought of this but it has to be done. House was professionaly landscaped in 06, we mulched in 08 and now again this year. The time I did it in 08 I had a shitload of bags from Menards delievered. I'm thinking a pickup load should do the trick

"the bunker"
deck, shed and fence staining on the docket this year....everything`s getting a little dog-eared...not to mention a new storm door...

problem is,the house is around 50 years old and the standard doors at home depot/ lowes are all too small for my opening and a cutom door is twiice as much...so i`m gonna have to build down the sill to get a nice, snug fit.....

be starting pretty soon...not looking forward to it..

you can know from this..

http://www.atstecks.com/mulch.htm

3'' at least..

use good mulch

double shreaded hardwood

I prefer red oak this time of year.

fluffy ..handles great and spreads damn near perfectly.

find a wholesale mulch seller..

I get red oak $25.00 a cubic yard

Red Oak Shredded Mulch
This product is made from the bark of the red oak. One of the most attractive mulches on the market, having a fine texture and beautiful color. Contrasts nicely with plants and trees.

10 cubes to you delvd. shouldn't be more than $300.00 I would think..maybe a little higher..

if ya have it delievered and ground is dry you may get driver to split the load for ya at the two big bed runs..

otherwise ..wheelbarrell and have big fun..

Spring lasts about 3 weeks around here, then the sidewalks start to melt

I hire it out... I have done it myself and it sucked, never again... we do black mulch, it looks good too when it is done, maybe sometime in April when plants start coming back from this cold winter
