Any suggestions on where to hang out for St. Patrick's Weekend in Chicago? My friend and I are staying at the Hilton downtown on Michigan and are going to watch the River Dyeing and walk over to the Parade. Jaime mentioned wanting to go to Timothy O'Tooles and Abbey Road.

I just want to drink and party. :mj06:

If I wasn?t heading out to the best St. Patrick?s day parade in Pinckney, MI this weekend, I?d head down to the South Side Irish Family Fest and watch Hothouse Flowers and Michael McDermott ? two great acts. It?s at the Beverly Arts Center on 2407 W. 111th. If you do go, I?d change your shirt. . . just sayin?

Just making up for lost time my man. Will be in Louisville next weekend with a group of friends to watch the Ball State/Louisville baseball series.

:toast: :toast:

The cards have a very nice team this year, you should enjoy the series, they do a good job for fans at their home games to make it a fun outting.

Dont try and go to the South Side Irish Parade in Beverly this year. They have cancelled one of the longest running traditions. I would suggest staying in the city. There will be gret parties everywhere.

Local kid from New Pal (Andrew Clark)plays for UL (transferred from Ole Miss) and we have a kid from Greenfield (Aaron Hammons) that is a closer for BSU. Group of us went out to Columbia, MO last year for BSU/Mizzou series.

O'leary's Public House on Wells and Ohio is a cool Irish bar and also Kerryman over on Clark and Erie? is a good spot as well .... you should have no problem finding plenty of stuff going on in Chicago tomorrow after the parade.

FYI that Clark is out at least this month with a rib injury.

Rolltide - feel free to get my email from Jack. Would try to meet up with you for beer or two tomorrow as I live just North of downtown. Will be working most of the day, but would be willing to meet up for a bit.

Basically any bar you go to is going to be packed and busy. If you aren't liking one joint just go down the street to another.

I'll make sure to get it from Jack before I leave later tonight. Jaime and I won't be getting into town til almost midnight. Hope we can meet up sometime tomorrow.
