Kentucky -2 1st half

As much as I hate Coach Cal and want to see WVU win this game, I see tremendous value on this play. Kentucky has been on fire, and WVU it seems is always better in the 2nd half. If UW can be up 2 at half vrs. WVU, I really can't see why Kentucky would not.

Tremendous value???? Do you mean there on fire because they won 8 in a row? They just beat a cupcake ivy school......I would be very careful if i was you betting against West Virginia on saturday.....1st half or the full game.....Good luck!

Calling Cornell a cupcake almost made me stop reading the post right there.

That "cupcake" beat Alabama, Wisconsin, Temple, and took Kansas down to the wire @ Phogg. Calling them a cupcake is absurd.

And no, I wouldn't say Kentucky is on fire because they won 8 in a row. I'd say it kinda has more to do with the fact that they've won 35 out of their last 37.

As for the 1st half, WVU has been better in the 2nd half all season and often gotten off to a slow start.

They had 23 turnovers vrs Washington. Not going to pull that off vrs Kentucky and come out with the win.

Also, who do you think is going to slow down Wall? Ebanks will be guarding him and has yet to see a PG as fast as him. You really think Ebanks will be able to keep Wall in front of him? :nono:

I agree with you here... KY should get off to a comfortable lead in the first half...

The one thing I always avoid is making a play based on what a team did against a different team in a prior week. That logic seems to usally work against a bettor. Just my two cents. Good luck with your play.

For me i have never made a 1st half wager in my life.....And i`m being serious.....I personally think they are the worst wagers you can make....What do you base a 1st half wager on?????? Capping a 1st half bet on what happened in previous games against another team makes no sense....2nd half wagers make more sense to me.....Then again, its your money.....Like i said above,be careful going against West Virginia they are no slouch....Good luck!

I'd imagine WVU will go a lot of 1-3-1 rather than man, wouldn't worry about who is guarding Wall.

As I have mentioned on here before, I have made a great deal of money this season betting against WV in the first half, then coming back with them in the 2nd half.....My biggest play of the day.

There is good info in this thread.

All season WVU has been a horrible 1st half team.

However, Kentucky hasn't seen a defense that will be as energetic and in their grill as they will see tonight.

WVU is a man 2 man defense for 30 minutes a game. I am not sure Huggins can do that tonight.

It will be interesting.

Keep in mind, without Bryant at the point WV has no true point guard. Ebanks looked very uncomfortable handling the ball after Bryant went out.........Sticking with my 1st half play

Thanks for the bump, dipshit.

I still think thats the right play and hits 9 out of 10 times.

I'm sure being the great capper you are, you saw that technical foul and 8/12 3 point shooting in the 1st half happening though right? :mj07:

Another guy with excuses.....So,i suppose you were on the RIGHT SIDE....But the technical got in the way of your Kentucky -2 wager......I already told you i dont play the woulda, coulda, shoulda game.....I just look at the final score and move on....Fucck all that bullshit that happens during the game....When the buzzer sounds, your either on the right side or wrong side....No excuses!.....Be careful with those 1st half wagers :00hour

I'm not making excuses, the 1st half played out pretty much how I thought it would. WVU struggled big time aside from the very abnormal lights out shooting from 3 point. Can't cap a team that shoots 32% from 3 to go 8 for 12 or w/e it was.

WVU also came out and played better in the 2nd half, like I said would be the case as well.

So no excuses but I still feel 9 out of 10 times, Kentucky is up at least a pair at half.

Not really sure why you felt the need to bump a thread on the 2nd page but hey, if you need to stroke your ego on a online message board, so be it.

This thread was closed last night and NBA_Kid got a warning. If I was here the thread would have remained open but the Kid would have been banned. I reopened the thread and banned him for 3 days.
