Good luck!

Yesterday: 4-0 +4.65
YTD: 16-11-1 +5.72

Just found out about the rest of yesterday's games :D

I slept in today :SIB

I waited all week and was looking forward to my Saturday beer day and I never felt like it yesterday

So I'll make today beer day :00hour

Mow the lawn at noon, fire up the grill after that, put on the jalepeno brats, cook up some green pepper and onion, pop a beer and get ready to watch Mick win The Masters.

I don't think they have mulch blades on the mower so need another set anyway according to you, right? I say that because it does leave a small strip of clippings that i have to mow back over again to remove them. Might hook up the grass catcher thing today for the first time and try it out.

I don't have an edger. I'm lucky if I weed whack once a month :sadwave:

And, a 4-0 day will help any baseball betting record :)

are you side discharging or using mulching block for the deck..

new mower w/w/mulching block attached to shute exit should be mincing that grass up pretty damn fine..

unless you have gone 8 or 10 days w/out cutting..

or you ferted and are already at twice a week cuts..

clean it up nice today w/bagger.

might as well w/the beautiful weather..

then be sure to cut next Sunday in mulch mode and see if you still get the clipper trail..

3'' cut this time of year is pretty and tight..

I actually go down to 2 and a half inches on the fast growers to keep them tighter looking longer and then they don't leave a trail the next week cut..

OK to do this time of year but not in the heat of summer..3 and a half to 4'' in hot summer should keep it a least a little greener during the dog days.

note...blades that came w/machine and blades that come w/mulching kit are usually the same design..

Consult the retailer for his recommended mulching blades from hell for that particular John Deere..

You bought a Lincoln..Treat it that way..

Rinse and dry when you are done today..

Wash out under-belly of deck..

The first time the grass was kinda high and left a lot, the 2nd time it just left a little. I didn't purchase the "mulch kit" just the cover. I am assuming it doesn't have mulch blades as the manuel refers to mulch blades, regular blades and bagger blades and stess using the proper blade for situation

Yeah, it has a hose hookup on the mower deck that I used both times and then I hosed off excess grass, I didn't dry it off though :scared

Thanks, my mower and grass advisor :)

more than likely you have the standard 3 in 1 blades on it from the factory

Deere web site lists the deluxe mulching blades from hell..

you can get the same thing from the after-market SITE ABOVE

new toys for work..:00hour
