Here
I will always go out and buy it and I will never age porterhouse steaks in a dry room for 27 days. I don't even have a dry room.

We only buy aged beef our hamburger is even aged once you eat it you'll never want regular beef :sadwave:

Our only rule is that the menus don't get opened, not even for an appetizer, until our first cocktail has been bottomed.

I need a tissue. Most beautiful thing I've ever read.

Wife have a sister? If so, does she golf? Got something coming up in a couple of months.

Thanks.

I don't go out to eat very often so when I do, I usually don't do price comparisons like that. But I definitely do it at places like the ballpark, where 10 ounces of beer is $8. As long as I live I will never be able to rationalize that. I've got buddies who will buy 5 beers at the game, so they're essentially paying $40 just to get a buzz.

I stand corrected. YOU are the cheapskate.

Wrong--one of most generous people I've been around--Could name several incidences-- fed bout 30 of us best rib eyes I ever ate and Gayle had every side item you could think of--twas the feast of feasts :)

I will agree with you though I am cheap in some ways--I like to think of it as thrifty---also very selfish with my time--which is probably worse trait.
The "thrifty part comes from my upbringing--we had very tight purse strings growing up.

I was just curious about the eating out part as I have seen many threads on nice places to eat.

When I eat out by myself I doubt if I have ever spent over $25 for a meal in my life--seriously
