another question asked and then we get silence.

DTBlackgumby really has no answers.

He just likes to throw blame around as long as it suits his neocon right wing agenda.

"The silence of the neocons is deafening. Wouldn't you agree Scotty?"

Couple here have beaten me to it - was busy all weekend. Wayne, I too would like to hear your plan for what we should do with Iran. How exactly do you propose we deal with the leader there, and what's going on in the country. Should we declare war on them, and invade the country? You seemingly don't - along with other right wing Iran commentators - feel that sanctions are enough. You don't feel that attacking Iraq to put our military squarely next to the country and establish the second largest airport - and I believe the largest military air base in the world - was enough. Keeping more than 100,000 troops there indefinitely, even after withdrawing unnecessary troops, is not enough. Does Krauthammer and others have a plan? Are you all in agreement that our only choice - the only appropriate choice - is to attack Iraq?

I don't see what else is left. Maybe you do? And if you think we should attack them, how do you propose we pay for it, considering your concerns about the deficit, and thinking we should stay in Iraq and engage in all out war with the "enemy" in Afghanistan?

Vey good write up Twins Fan, I want my money back, soon. :0corn

Anyways, have you seen the movie War Inc? The entire war is sponsored by large corporations and fought by private armys.

In the grand scheme of things, the 2 fronts, besides making Saddam shit his pants in public, killing a bunch of civilians, making more enemies, what really has been accomplished? Oh yeah, Dick made a shit load of money as well as Blackwater.

Thanks, but admittedly, I don't know the best thing. I certainly think strong sanctions are the appropriate way to handle this - compared to other alternatives, and a good way to keep others on our side in the issue.

The Brazilian leader is being linked as some kind of signal of a further issues of Obama and/or U.S. weakness, and essentially he was a mediator to help broker a deal to have Iran provide low grade uranium to another country - what the security council and most uncertain world countries had asked for from Iran to help verify their comments about not doing it for warlike purposes. I don't doubt they do want to go nuclear, but it does show some recognition of agreeing to oversight and abiding by the wishes of the peaceful world, to a degree. Obama doesn't get any credit for this from Krauthammer/Wayne, and eternally gets ridiculed.

What is their plan? It's easy to eternally criticize, without anything of substance to offer otherwise. And the criticism is even arguable, and a stretch made for political gain.

Why don't we help the people of Iran overthrow there leadership.I know it sds. crazy but its obvious that there a dictator run country.

Let's help the people of Iran to take over the country.I admit there's no guarantee that they will run it our way but it would be a start.I know its a long shot but its a thought.

Supply with everything they need and let all hell break lose.

the CIA has been doing that for years. What do you think the green movement was about in the last elections in Iran.

Iran made statements that the West was involved and we were hook line and sinkers.

The trouble is that Iran has the Revolutionary Guard and in a dictatorship you dont exactly get to congregate and talk without people getting killed and thrown in prison.

They hang people there for drinking alcohol.

There is no chance that Armadinnerjacket is getting overthrown . None.

Again I see you continue to expect your questions to be answered, and toss out ridicule if they aren't. So, I'll stop this line of commentary with a list I found of 90 things Obama has done right - depending on your opinion of him and what you personally believe. The beauty of your question is that you can summarily dismiss the entire list because you don't like him or his political stance - and continue to say he's done nothing right, Wayne. For the sake of answering your question, here goes.

Now that I've answered it, perhaps you can answer my question and others questions of you in this same thread. If you didn't see it, go back and check.

Here is a list of Obama's accomplishments as of August 2009:

Any prisinors still incarcerated there , I would shoot them in the head and be done with that shit. Maybe even hang a few of them in pig oil.

The surge in Iraq ? Let them fawkers defend their own country now. We should pull back and just assist when absoulutely required.

Reduce troops in Afghanastan ?
We have built it up to where it should have been when George and President Cheney were busy lieing about Iraq.

Obama has been right with the economy

He pulled us out of the depths of depressions that George W put us in on purpose and was laughing as he went out of office.

You asked for one thing that Obama has done, reveled in some solo fact that nobody would answer it, I give you a list of almost a hundred things, and you summarily dismiss it. Same as it always is, same as it always was. At least you had to fall back on your right wing rhetoric, instead of your smirky antagonistic rant for a change. Asked and answered, counselor.

I also note you ignore and/or hide from my (and others) question here, which is also understandable. If you care to answer it - feel free. If not, I understand.
