Hawai'i

I just booked flights to Hawai'i for April 2011. We'll be staying in Ko'Olina, which is roughly 20 miles southwest of Honolulu. We are firm on Ko'Olina. However, I am looking to take the wife and kids on a 2-3 day side trip, since we just spent 10 days in Ko'Olina last year.

Any suggestions? I have read about a few possibilities, but as I recall, there are some bigtime Hawai'i experts around these parts....

I truly enjoyed Hanauma Bay, National Park with great snorkeling. Also has the "toilet bowl" and "withces brew" off to the sides of the beach. Essentaill what the water does when waves come in, but loved it!!!

Cie, by "side trips" are you referring to stuff on the Big Island - and not trips to the other islands? The only island I've been to is Maui, and we did a lot there.
