Great news, buddy! See you soon :toast:

I'm thinking that I'll play one or two at Venetian, maybe event 54 and/or 56 at WSOP and a couple mega satellites for the ME between July 3 and 7.

That's the preliminary guess on my tourney schedule.

Great, did u change ur flights to come in early than July 1st?

Yeah, Mirage sent me 3 free days, in the mail, so I changed my flight and even got that cheaper :mj07:

I will be there on July 4th until whenever. Did not win a seat yet, but my old man did. His first time playing the big one so I am very excited for him. I am gonna play some of the Venetian ones as well and hopefully get a seat

Let's try to hook up. :shrug:

I leave the 7th unless I win a seat in the ME.

Rousso Done In by Ladies

Posted 1 minute ago by danafish

There was a mid-position raise to 2,700 before Lisa Parsons made it 7,000 from the button. The small blind folded, but Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso in the big blind shoved for 30,000 total. Back to the mid-position player who re-shoved for 46,600. Parsons tanked for a while before folding {a-}{k-} face up, and Rousso and the re-shover were on their backs.

Rousso: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Re-Shover: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Board: {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Rousso is done and dusted in 421st place. Marcello del Grosso is now the sole flag-flyer for Team PokerStars in this tournament.

from earlier....

Elsewhere, Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso is sharing a table with the equally fearsome Lisa Parsons. Rousso was involved in some sort of minor disagreement with a dealer concerning dealing procedure when we strolled by her table, so she's clearly on the ball this morning, but so far we haven't seen much action from either of these ladies. It's early days yet though.

Hand #80 - David Oppenheim Doubles Through Michael Mizrachi

Posted 14 minutes ago by change100
Vladimir Schmelev has the button in Seat 3. David Oppenheim opens for 175,000 from UTG and Michael Mizrachi calls from the big blind.
The flop is

Team Mizrachi has been silenced for the moment.

Since I'm no expert when it comes to hold 'em, do you think Mizrachi check-raised on the flop because he assumed he had the best of it, or because he was worried about a possible flush draw? Or maybe both? :0corn

Vladimir Schmelev has had a pretty amazing showing so far. Relative unknown has final tabled 3 events but big ones....

50k players championship (2nd)
10k Stud championship (7th)
10k 7 card stud 8or better (still going on)

Pretty amazing start despite not taking one down.
