I didn't break it(that I'm aware of) but the toe next to my big toe(right foot) is so damn bent I have to take my shoes off at work and walk around in my socks.

Bowling is quite painful but the Crown numbs it pretty good. :toast:

My general Dr said it looks like I may have to break it and then a steel rod pushed in from the front to keep it straight? Sweet Jesus! :scared

Anybody here have to go through this. If I have to break it I'll have to wait until the Fall when mowing season is over.

Thanks very much!

Didn't he refer you to someone else? MAN!

How did the toe get like that? You certainly didn't wake up one day with it.

Wow!

I didn't ask for a referral after he told me that!!!

I gotta believe tight shoes perhaps? I know I didn't jam into a door or stub it real hard. Over the years I guess it started bending. It's damn near shaped like a tent!

I limp everywhere. Aleve and Motrin during the day is all I can do.

If I am reading this correctly, then it is called hammer toe. It occurrs on your second, third or fourth toe. I know someone who had surgery for it recently.

She is in her 50's and has severe foot problems from wearing narrow high-heeled shoes most of her life.

Surgery went well for her. Good luck..........

Yep, 2nd toe.

Thanks very much Cie. Now that I have a name I'll check things out on the Web.

You'd rather have a small, unintrusive toe straightener on your toe than have a titanium rod jammed in there? Different strokes for different folks I guess.

And with splint in place, the bowling ball idea might not be out of the question

Maybe try it from 2 feet after a shit-load of Crown and then 3 feet, etc.

Still better than the rod :0008

Well, here's my toe......warning, it's nasty. Googled hammer toe and images. It's like they took a pick of my foot except mine's a little sexier than this....

Personally, I think I would rather go on a Crown bender and just shoot it off, than have to deal with the rod.

Oh and if you win another one of those parlays, Jack, you're going to have to start selling them for $29.99 as your "5,000 unit, bury your man, lock of the year" plays.

I have to agree on shooting it off, rather than a rod.

On the other matter; I don't need yyz suing me for profiting on his documented system :mj07:

Excellent point. Maybe you guys could work together? YYZ could offer his backtested spreadsheet analysis and you could be the face of the operation, bringing in the heavy hitters who are looking to buy a vacation home in The Keys off of your picks. I honestly don't know how this could possibly fail. :0008
