What are the %s???? I am liking the under again.....

Which site? That's the problem with trying to gauge who the public is on; each 'consensus' site is going to give you different numbers. How do you know which one to use?

Had 80% on over it has dropped to 72%.

Which site do you use? I'm not being a smartass when I ask that, I'm being completely genuine.

I just don't know how you guys can put any stock into these sites when there are such HUGE differences in the numbers. One site says 52%, but another says 80%??? Shouldn't they be at least SOMEWHAT close?

BTW, the reason I asked what site you use was because I was curious if you use a 'consensus' site, or if you were getting those figures from your book. If it's from your book, I would automatically discount whatever they tell you as they have no reason whatsoever to help you make money off of them. I placed a bet at Sportsbetting.com yesterday and after my bet went through it said "100% of the action is on the Angels to beat the spread!" :mj07: Really? EVERY single customer you have bet on the Angels, huh?

If it's a consensus site it's POSSIBLE that they're giving you good info, but I would be highly skeptical of those sites, as well.

Like I said before, if those sites were legitimate you wouldn't see 30% swings on an O/U for a game, in comparison to other sites. You just wouldn't.

I dont use the betting trends that often, but the site I tend to go to (sportsbook.com) has 69% on the over. I think it was at 80% about an hour ago.

I'm not trying to sound like a broken record, but I wouldn't trust anything a sportsbook is telling you. They're not in the business of helping people take their money. And they certainly aren't going to give out good information out of the kindness of their hearts. Buyer beware... that's all I'm saying.

Glenn I take the %'s from 3 of the top sportsbooks and avg them out. I dont take them from a handicapping forum. They dont offer any of them any longer. But I will say this one is where the line originates.

1 of them.
I have followed their consensus taken from their site which is #'s from them and a stats company. I will tell you this they have been legit for as long as I have followed.

Well, looks like "the public" was right on the total. Looked like it was going to sail over for a while there but it actually end up being somewhat close due to the scoring drought in the last few minutes.
