they look sort of like tiny lady bugs...

any ideas what they are?...it isn`t close to the house...
You sure they aren't spider mites? I have those on a couple trees out here. I'm guessing that's what they are. Not close to the house either.

BTW, did you know that you are never more than 6 feet away from a spider :scared

I hate spiders!

Big Daddy, how's the bar doing? I know a lot of bars and restaurants have been suffering or gone under over the past couple years over this way. Hope things are going well for you.

First thing I thought of, BD. We have a ton of them, inside the house, too. They are relatively harmless, but they can bite. They show up every so often, and are all over the place. Not sure how to fight them off, but they're a minor niuisance.

Chadman:

Just an FYI - we had the same problem (we are located just east of you in WI). We have a heavy wooded area about 50 feet outside our back door. Always had issues with these buggers - especially in the fall prior to winter.

Call a pest guy - he came and sprayed in early September for them - and comes every year (like $40 each year) and now get VERY few of them in the house each year.

Really worked well..... in case you are interested
