The world lost a good man today. I am not only saying because he is a close friend. He was a charming guy, who was loyal to family and friends. The thing is, we all liked him more than he liked himself. I hear this a lot, but it is the truth in this case.

Addiction is powerful, and in Dave's case, too powerful. I wish I had done more for him.

We love you and will miss you, buddy.

Cie - I can relate. Sorry for your loss.

We're literally at wit's end with a very good friend at this point. The only saving grace right now is that he is in state pen in VA.

How much does it suck when you are thankful that a friend is in prison?

I was good friends and biz partner with someone who became a meth addict. he just got out of jail, but I'm betting he goes back soon or dies. It's so sad because there is only one person of quality who will have anything to do with him (his daughter) and she has confessed that everyone would be better off if he died.
