i watched it and turned the sound off after a few minutes. she was as bad as that whiny tracy austin who does tennis broadcasts. her name is beth mowins. she is from syracuse. according to her she knows football by playing catch with her brother in the backyard. i am afraid she will be around all season.

The other female anouncer, who is also tough to listen to imo, is Pam Ward. She used to do that early espn 2 big ten game, but I think she was moved to an afternoon slot on espnu for this season

I'm pretty sure Ward did the Clemson/N. Texas game in the afternoon. When I turned on the Cincy/Fresno game later in the evening I was convinced (the beers during the day helped) they flew her out West to do that game as well. Guess your reasoning above is more logical.
