I played it within a hour of line coming out.
The way I look at this is differant.
The books got so much money on the over
They dropped the number to confuse gamblers.
If they raise the number in this situation it would normally attract the public over the number as they see it rising and try to jump on bandwagon.
They know the points are going to ring out loud and stand proud.
I remember one time my grandfather and I were sitting out by his barn.
Several people that worked there were trying to get this donkey into a outside pen. They were pulling it , yelling at it, just about everything.
So after watching this for awhile my grandfather goes over and picks up a 2 x 4 that was laying there. He walked over to the donkey and cracked it right between the eyes. The donkey then followed him into the pen.
So my Pa comes back over and sits down. I said Pa , why did that work when nothing else did ?
He said...... First you have to be smarter than the donkey.

I didn't want to add negativity to your thread so I didn't speak up. I usually play em all but had a memory of us playing 2 or 3 years ago, same game and it pushed and another year lost.
I'm going to keep this in memory for next year.

Well that game went by so fast , as it does when you have a over.
I can take a loss on the first play I make
on college football.
This tells me alot about SEC football this year and these two teams in particular.
Georgia could not stop the run.
South Carolina is not a big league team either though.
Alot of work to do before my next play.
It will take me awhile to get over this lost.

Yeh I am not a total player like hawkeye is.
I just had a gut feeling and sometimes you have to go that way regardless.
Have to see these teams play SEC before I can make good decisions on sides.
