Not sure if you guys saw the last interview, but Letterman and Joaquin Phoenix said Letterman wasn't in on it after all. He said he knew "something was up" as soon as Joaquin Phoenix sat down so he just played along, but he didn't know beforehand that he was going to be in character like that.
I honestly had no idea what the fug was going on. That first interview was just uncomfortable to watch. :sadwave:
