I think Mallet will torch Bama's young secondary as well as Ark won't stop Bama... I think OVER and the points

I looked at this game when I got my college football preview and really, really thought for a long time about it. Me thinks this one gets real, real interesting.

Hard not to like bama. Granted uga was at home, they still had the chance of winning plus they got some pressure on mallet. Given how much better bamas D is, I would imagine they get to him early and often. Having said this, Mallet is the real deal. What impressed me the most was his pocket prescence. They may hit him but I dont think they rattle him. I dont know enough about eithers lines, but seems to me that this one comes down to arky's OL vs bama's DL. Who is better here is what will decided this game.

I don't see how anyone can call either side of this game a lock... as for pressuring mallet, I think Bama has 2-3 sacks through 3 games and 2 of those games were Duke and San Jose State. That doesn't say too much for being able to get to a QB.

Last time they played Arkansas was able to defend the run very well. Bama's defense still has questionmarks. Game is too much of a toss-up to pick. just grab some crown and make a drink and watch. much easier games on the board but I guess everyone, myself included, likes to be able to pick the big games right for bragging....

Alabama on the road is a better team than Alabama at home......they play nearly perfect football on the road. Very focused and disciplined team, very few mistakes. They have the 2 best RB's in the nation to control the clock, and in a game where someone is going to be forced to throw to win against a Nick Saban defense, I like the Tide -7.

Well if they cant get to Mallet then I think 7 is a gift. Like I said I dont know enough about eithers line, but I assumed if my boys could pressure him anyone could:facepalm:

games are much more fun to watch when you have a little money on them especially when you bet the right way...I think Alabama will cover, but I might just bet the over and enjoy...what is the total? anyone know?

Anytime someone turns opinions into "facts", it doesnt seem worthwhile to engage in debate.
Given the analysis of your team, does it not seem odd that the line is 7:shrug: I am not saying Bama doesnt win or cover for that matter, but you are obviously to vested in your team to be objective.

I think Bama will be almost perfect ATS this year..

Bet AU covers in the iron bowl....................

Hedgehog: Total went from 49 to 54 real quick. I'm also just gonna throw on the Over and watch the fireworks. The "forced to throw on Saban's defense" applied to the last two years but if Penn State can throw on Bama's secondary with a Frosh QB in his first SEC stadium at night on Gameday.... Mallet will be just fine. He is the best pocket passer in the country

I agree TheSystem not saying Bama won't win/cover this weekend but where are you getting that "Bama makes no mistakes on the road??? The Duke game? It's a fresh year and this is Bama's first real game and it's on the road in the SEC. Sorry to big10 fans but pennstate is very meh

It's close enough to October to count this as part of "the SEC in October." have heard people caution betting on SEC games during the meat of conference play for the last 7 years. I try to stay away from picking sides altogether...
