I don't know if anyone besides the System is a bama homer on here but I have about 70% of my friends are bammers and there's a completely different attitude about this game that I haven't heard since 2008 probably. Very legitimate chance they lose this weekend. Even the cockiest of cocky are pretty nervous
I think the only team that is even in Bama's league is Boise... TCU just hasnt impressed me like they did last year...
as early as today this game's line has began to move towards Bama as now they're giving 7.5 points which may shift a little or a lot) the betting towards Arky. Nevertheless the call remains for me on ALABAMA and may the OVER prevail (WTF ... it has jumped from 49 to 54)
That all sounds great except i'm not a Bama fan. If anything i'm a Southern Miss fan, I just watch a lot of SEC football and I can tell you right now teams take on the identity of their coaches. Bama's identity is that they execute at a very high level......minimal penalties, minimal turnovers......they don't beat themselves. They've played their best football under Saban on the road. You don't think that will carry over into this season? Watch what happens Saturday.
Also, before someone puts too much stock into Penn St's freshman QB having decent success throwing on them, lets keep in mind Bama loaded the box and forced him to do so. Also, some kid named Marcel Dareus was out that game, he changes a game completely with his pass rush ability.

Yea I don't think there's any question about that......also in defense of Arkansas, I watched the replay of last years game on one of these channels that shows a ton of old games the other day. Bama physically handeled them for the most part, but there were MULTIPLE dropped passes from Arky WR's in wide open space. That 35-7 final is probably somewhat misleading.

I wouldn't lie about it, that would be dumb. My Tide = I bet them that day. I say that about any team I bet.......there were a couple times "my Auburn Tigers" won this season as well, would a Bama fan say that?
I will say that I guess I do sort of pull for Bama out of all the SEC schools because I have a buddy in their athletic dept that keeps me informed and often times gets me info that helps in betting. It's not like I walk around rockin Tide gear and have a giant A on my car though.
