That's the problem, you have to drink a case of Coors Light to get the same feeling you get after drinking 3 or 4 microbrews that pack a punch. :142smilie That's how they get ya. :SIB

Might I say though, you look quite dashing in that cravat. :0008

Uh, not quite, Glenn....

Most of the watered down domestics that us old guys drink are in the 5% alcohol content range while most of the yuppie beers may hit 6%, for the most part. Yes, they have brews with higher alcohol content but most stay in the 5% to 6% range :0008

I made the mistake of drinking about 14 of those things that PRO190 posted and will never drink another dark beer again. The shit is almost like a syrup. And I used to like dark beer. UGH! Got sick and will never go back there :sadwave:

Well, I was exaggerating quite a bit. I know that, for the most part, the difference isn't huge. And I don't have a problem with the cheaper beers, most are just too watery for me. I don't mind Bud Light, but most of the others I just can't get into.

Dark beer is not typically a fave for most, you're right about that. It's very heavy, and if you drink too much of it you'll feel quite bloated. :sadwave:

NOW you tell me. I drank 72 Coors Lights last weekend to get the same buzz as I would from 9 dark beers. :scared

That damn sarcasm filter keeps getting turned off. :142smilie

I've always called it motor oil. First time I had Guiness in Moscow. Took a sip and said this shit looks and tastes like used motor oil.

Shouldn't do WHAT while ironing? Your posts always confuse or amuse me, and sometimes it's both. :142smilie

And don't feel bad, 98% of the time the puns go over my head, too. And when I try for a pun, it usually goes over the reader's head because my puns just aren't very punny.

The fact that your posts are barley understandable is the yeast of your concerns. Ugh. See what I mean?

:142smilie I dunno about that. I don't think anything will top the Weasie's Voltaire reference from back in the day. I believe that post has been framed and matted. :SIB

I think this strategy may backfire. After drinking those free samples people will realize they are drinking piss-water.

You guys have Total Wines near you? They've got an awesome selection of microbrews and you can build your own six pack. The only problem I have is that I've tried so many beers now I can't remember which I liked and which I haven't. I'll see them out on tap and all I know is that at some point I drank it.

Recently had DogFish Head's 90 minute IPA. They're out of Delaware near Rehoboth Beach.
