They are playing lift, clean and place through the green. Almost a monsoon right now. Not fun at all.

All kinds of standing water on #1 fairway. Getting close to unplayable I would think.

Players are allowed to ask for their line to be cleared of standing water, so expect to see lots of squeegees... which in turn will mean very slow play for the time being.

PGA of America had to purchase new rain gear from the merchandise tent due to the Sun Mountain rain gear issued to Team USA was more rain soaking than rain repellent. $550 per suit and they bought 20 of them for players and caddies. They were so bad that Tiger didn't even wear his when he teed off this morning. Plus they looked incredibly bush league with their names on the back. Apparently the golf bags aren't much better.

Just announced that the Morning Fourball Matches will resume at 12 PM EST. They should be able to get in around 2 hours of golf before darkness. :facepalm:

The Cup is coming here to MN in 2016, I cannot wait for that event, hopefully I can pull off all the days and a nice overnight stay there to party it up.

BREAKING NEWS: There has been an alteration to the playing schedule.

The second session will be comprised of six foursomes matches.

The third session will be comprised of two foursomes matches and four fourballs matches.

These sessions will be followed by 12 singles matches.

This means there will still be a total of 28 points available, of which eight will be decided by foursomes and eight by fourballs, and it is hoped that play will be completed by Sunday afternoon as scheduled.

The silver lining in all of the rain clouds is that now NBC is forced to show LIVE coverage on Saturday. They were going to go tape delay, but the weather has forced them to change their minds.

If the matches do not end on Sunday, USA Network will carry any Monday finish beginning at 2 AM.
