That was sweet...how does he stay so calm and collected...I need a pill and a drink just watching it...

He meditates a lot, including before all his starts.
Might help... ...don't know as I haven't done so without stimulants.

Guy's always been even keel.
And phenomenal.

They're talking on the fan radio here about Roy...again.
They didn't mention it but I just thought of another example of that "even-keel" comment.

I think it was a couple of years ago...about mid or mid-late in the game, which was another solid performance.
He took a line shot off the side of his head. Looked pretty brutal.
He did not appear in the slightest way phased.

dang...tried to find it on youtube...not available.
Maybe someone will add it now that Doc is making fresh headlines.

crap...I just call the fan, which I never do, on I was on the air talking about this line-shot off the head story.
Never got the dude to remind me what year or who he was facing or anything.
Any other fans--Jays or otherwise--remember this play?

He was bleeding but never went down.
I remember thinking, at the time, now that's a fuckin' man!
Looked brutal, as mentioned.

Wonderin' if anyone else recalls.

No matter...lookin' at some football, presently, after deciding on passola re:NHL openers. Leafs fade (habs med.dogs) always tempting...last few years...groan:facepalm: ...

also be cool to see Oswalt get a ring.
