they bussed our asses to dickeyhill in the 5th and 6th. i went to marley in aa county in 3rd. 4th only year at beechfield.

During the lecture, another teacher walked into our room weeping and said aloud, "President Kennedy has been assassinated".
I looked at the clock on the far wall.
It showed 1:35 PM.

I was in JHS when my friend gave me the news about JFK....The country seemed to change after that....

Nov.22, 1960, Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, purchased DomiNick's,[4] a small pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The deal was secured by a US$75 down payment and the brothers borrowed $500 to pay for the store. Eight months later, James traded his half of the business to Tom for a used Volkswagen Beetle. As sole owner of the company, Tom Monaghan renamed the business Domino's Pizza, Inc. in 1965. In 1967, the first Domino's Pizza franchise store opened in Ypsilanti.

I was only 4 but can remember that day as we were living in rural Arkansas, my mom ironing our clothes in front of the b&w tv watching the reports. Sad and shocking day for the country.
