My wife is in charge of Thanksgiving. She says you can brine up to 3 days. My Mom and sisters think that it's too long and it always causes quite the controversy. . . But I like my wife's thanksgiving meal better than my mom's because there's no squash, no green bean casserole, no lumpy gravy and no turkey. . . . and no

Thank goodness the only travelling we're doing this year is around the kitchen and dinner table!

Is anyone having oyster stuffing? That was my Mom's favorite and always on the Thanksgiving and/or Christmas menu.

Me, I can't stand the things unless they're raw!

with poopie diapers.

Have fun!! :00hour

I didn't think flying with an infant this young would be smart on such a busy holiday. I don't know what made me think driving so far was going to be any better.

I'm just glad it's my family we are headed to see. If it was the in-laws, I would be even more of an unhappy camper. They think it is Thanksgiving weekend as long as you serve turkey on Thursday. They completely ignore the college football games and worry too much about shopping.

anyway, safe travels to all. And to those that aren't travelling, have a couple extra cold ones while I'm on the road.

Had the oyster stuffing once in the '80's....it brought meaning to the 'stuff' inside the Turkey that was never removed. :142smilie

I had more with extra gravy!
