People need to learn that some guys take their sports (or golf) very seriously. Especially the ones hitting that tiny white ball in that tiny hole.

Lighten up? They did nothing to ask for this. I agree with all above that if you mess with the game, the consequences are all pretty much played out from that point on. Interesting if they were young guys that the joke was played on, they caught them, and the idiots were beaten like a stick. What is the situation then?
