I'm so excited to make my first trip to California.

Also, don't know if any of you saw the new Nike outfit they gave TCU, but word is they are only going to wear the new shoes. No one liked the all black jersey and the red armbands. TCU is obligated to wear the new shoes though.

sad to say that there were years we were taking it for granted, and now look where we're at...:facepalm:

I'm tearing up right now. All the Colts games I saw with my dad back in the day. :toast:

We never did do a Ravens game but we spent damn near every game, the whole game, on the phone watching it together.

Joe - I think it is great that you guys have an opportunity to make some noise. That is what pissed me off about them matching Boise and TCU LY.

Enjoy the trip, the game, but most of all - enjoy the time with your dad. I took my 7 year old to the NCAA Regionals when the Vols beat Ohio St and we still talk about it. I was also blessed to have my dad come up for the Ole Miss game this year, and I will never forget three generations of Vol fans sitting there. It was all I could do to hold back the tears thinking about it.

There are only a few times in life when you can really make memories, and this is one of them.

true dat. We set up in a bunker when Iowa played in the '86 Rose Bowl. They came by and told us to get out of the bunker. We told them there are 40000 other people on this golf course and you are yelling at us because we are partying in a bunker? :mj07:

You're gonna have a blast. That golf course is called Brookside. Spent many hours tailgaiting there......it's about 30 minutes from my house. Nothing better than a SC / UCLA game at the Rose Bowl......other than this I would imagine. If I can make a suggestion......get there EARLY. You can set up and then go walk around, check shit out and all. but do get there early.....and plan on hanging out for awhile after the game cause getting out of there is crazy......the weather should be on your side as well.
