I am very gunshy with wagers these last two weeks in the NFL. It is not like capping the regular season.

Some teams are already out of it and just want family time during the Holidays. I hate them teams because its hard to figure out who they are.

So motivation for teams speaks volumes. And we should listen unless we are just stupid.

What team has reasons to play hard and win the game. What teams have given up. Who really knows.

But this game for me stands out and I am very confident about making this play.

Kansas City is hot right now, fighting for a Div title
with Cassell back in the saddle.

Arrowhead is a difficult place to play.

I doubt seriously that Kerry Collins and the Titans will be able to stay in this game.

And I hope that they put Vince in there at some point.

That would be sweet.

1. Deal with a tough trip: The Chiefs are 6-0 at home this year, and Kansas City is traditionally a very tough place to play. Kansas City is one of the best teams in the league at not turning the ball over, while the Titans have taken too many penalties. Neither of these teams is very strong with special teams overall, but both clubs do have dangerous young returners.

We know KC plays hard at home. They do not want to be humiliated at home in front of these fans with hope in their eyes. KC players got their familys in the stands watching.

Meanwhile Titans are on automatic just trying to get the season over with.

Kansas City (9-5) rebounded from a 31-0 road loss to San Diego -- the second-place team in the West -- with a 27-13 victory over St. Louis last week, its fourth in five games. That allows the Chiefs to win the division if they beat Tennessee and the Chargers lose at Cincinnati.

The Titans (6-8) must win their final two games and need Indianapolis -- which they visit Jan. 2 -- and Jacksonville to lose out in order to make the postseason.

"We understand what our situation is, who needs to do what," quarterback Kerry Collins said. "Is it a long shot? Yeah, it is but that's not going to change our M.O. (We) want to come out, keep playing. Crazier things have happened but we've got to take care of our business and we did that."

Collins and the Titans will be trying to deal the Chiefs their first home loss in seven games this season. Kansas City, surrendering an NFL-low 12.2 points per game at home, last went undefeated at Arrowhead Stadium in 2003, when it won its most recent division title.

SD hasn't lost much in Dec. with Rivers, TO is out for Cinci and they are not that good, teams going in opposite directions. Anyway good luck with the Chiefs!

Looks like Tennessee, even though they won big last week vs. Houston, has folded up the tent. Division sandwich game for them as well, and they get to finish the season on the road against the Ponies. KC's last game is against Oakland, where they look to avenge a 23-20 loss from earlier in the year. Still, I don't see them caught napping in this spot, and I think they grab the cash.

Got to stay with a aggressive wager here .

Sure there arent that many games that stand out to me this week,

This is all going to be decided on who plays who in the NFL playoffs very soon.

I am a strong believer in Cassell at QB for KC in this game. I had to ask myself , who is going to play better in this game ? Kerry Collins or Matt Cassell ?

Bingo !

Thats a big hurdle to cross. Chiefs have the best QB that will be consistant in this game.

I thought it was a brilliant move when they got Cassell in a trade with NE. I wonder if Brady was a little jealous of the guys skills.

This will be a good atmosphere at Arrowhead with all that is on the line. The fans are going to be stoked up.

I strongly believe the Chiefs are going to play very well and cover this number.

There are some differences in the running backs.
J Charles is leading the league with 6.4 yds a carry and D Bowe has more recieving touchdowns
than anyone else in the NFL .

That just has to count for something in this game.

Matt Cassell is second only to Tom Brady in touchdown passes to interception diffential at 19.

These teams on paper are not even close as far as I am concerned.

But paper can be used to wipe your heiner after a loss if ya get my drift.....

C Bailey. He is better than Verner anyday.
