I think that I have to pass. When I saw this game before the line came out I was hoping for a larger number on the total so I could go under. Didn't happen yet but if it climbs to 125 or beyond I may play it small.

The opening line seems pretty tight to me, both total and side. Gun to the head, as the lines stand now, I'd be on the home dog plus the points. There are some other spots on the board that I favor much better.

Good luck

You won't find a bigger Michigan mark than good ol CapMan...Michigan can play with just about anyone for 20 or 30 minutes. If there is a play its Michigan 1H. I don't think they can sustain the scoring to keep up with Purdue because they will have to rely solely on jump shots. Michigan THINKS they are a good shooting team, when in reality they are very poor from the outside. Most of their point this year have come in transition with Morris triggering the break and getting in the paint..Purdue has a big man in the paint that is a shot blocking demon. I think Purdue will get tons of easy 2nd chance points. Michigan none. It will take an epic 3 pt shooting day to win this game. I'm talking double digit 3's for the Wolves that have to drop. My lines aren't up yet, but I suspect Purdue pulls away in the 2H and wins by 7+. Also like the 1H total if its 61 or less. If Michigan can score, it will be early when they have their legs and emotions running high.

no, Michigan shot their load..Stu is a 1st half sniper..has no legs for the 2H..Purdue gets easy shots and stepped up the defense..Michigan relies on Morris to breakdown the defense and there is no room in the paint for him..Purdue pulls away late, but Michigan will have their moments.

Purdue -1 2H 295 to win 268

CapMan,

You had this one pegged perfectly. If MICH wants to win some games in the Big 10 they will have to come up with more than jacking 3s as a strategy

Thanks for your help. I made some coin on this one thanks to you

I rarely get a Michigan game wrong..I was something like 16-2 last year with and against them. I like them a lot as road dogs for 1H wagers. Usually takes a team to figure out what it is they are doing on offense and they are usually getting nice points..like vs Syracuse. The 2nd half is usually bad for them. They have zero post presence so there are no easy buckets and all of their "shooters" Douglas, Novak, Smotryck, Vogrich are defensive liabilities. They can't close out on shooters and when they do the other team just jumps over them for easy looks. I mean how many 3's were shot right in front of Stu Douglas' grill from the corner..he just has no ups to contest..onto the next game..
