I THINK ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE A PROBLEM HE WEARS HIS FAITH ON HIS SLEEVE. I THINK ITS GREAT- I HAVE KIDS AND FOR THEM TO LOOK UP TO SOMEONE WHO STANDS UP FOR WHAT HE BELIEVES AND IS NOT A HYPOCRITE IS AWESOME

his faith means absolutely nothing to those who judge his ability to win games.

because he showed NOTHING in the combines that remotely resembled a pro QB. further more the #'s produced to suddenly boost the youngman to "look at me" have basiclly come while being down double digits late and getting slop numbers that make his less than stellar performance look somewhat better..ie today.. which if you or anyone of his boosters watched the comeback #'s came at "prevent" time..

prior to that he had a stretch of zero..zilch which couldn't even afford his "D" any breather ..

here are 6 possessions in a row..

4 13:52 12:10 1:42 Kickoff DEN 20 3 7 -10 -3 0 DEN 17 Punt
5 9:59 8:50 1:09 Kickoff DEN 30 3 2 0 2 0 DEN 32 Punt
6 3:45 1:42 2:03 Kickoff DEN 20 5 16 0 16 1 DEN 36 Punt
7 0:09 0:00 0:09 Kickoff DEN 26 1 -1 0 -1 0 DEN 26 End of Half
8 15:00 13:44 1:16 Kickoff DEN 23 3 34 0 34 1 SD 43 Interception
9 11:10 9:29 1:41 Kickoff DEN 27 3 4 0 4 0 DEN 31 Punt

his inability to move the ball and Denvers horrible "D" resulted in Denver getting enough touches to..

4 2:57 13:52 4:05 Kickoff SD 24 8 76 0 76 3 DEN 27 Touchdown
5 12:10 9:59 2:11 Punt 50 7 42 -16 26 1 * DEN 24 Field Goal
6 8:50 3:45 5:05 Punt SD 17 10 56 0 56 2 DEN 27 Field Goal
7 1:42 0:09 1:33 Punt SD 17 10 54 0 54 4 DEN 29 Field Goal
8 13:44 11:10 2:34 Interception SD 29 5 71 0 71 4 * DEN 12 Touchdown
9 9:29 8:31 0:58 Punt DEN 19 4 0 0 0 0 * DEN 19 Field Goal

10 3:15 14:07 4:08 Kickoff SD 23 8 53 -11 42 2 DEN 35 Missed FG which was a chip shot and should have buried Denver right then and there.

6 unanswered scores...6 of them..not a drive for a TD..not a slow them down a little FG..nothing zero..

thus his QB NUBERS TODAY..

<TABLE id=yui_3_2_0_6_129401815357813 summary="Game Statistics: Passing for Denver Broncos"><THEAD><TR><TH class="player title" scope=col>Denver Broncos</TH><TH title=Completions scope=col>Comp</TH><TH title=Attempts scope=col>Att</TH><TH title=Yards scope=col>Yds</TH><TH title="Completion Percentage" scope=col>Pct</TH><TH title="Yards Per Attempt" scope=col>Y/A</TH><TH title=Sacks scope=col>Sack</TH><TH title="Yards Lost" scope=col>YdsL</TH><TH title=Touchdowns scope=col>TD</TH><TH title=Interceptions scope=col>Int</TH><TH title="QB Rating" scope=col>Rating</TH></TR></THEAD><TBODY><TR class=odd><TD class="player title">Tim Tebow(notes)</TD><TD>16</TD><TD>36</TD><TD>205</TD><TD>44.4</TD><TD>5.7</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>14</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>58.2</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

a passer rating of ..58.2 w/20 incompletions in 36 attempts..hardly stellar

I CANT THINK OF ONE REASON- BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE DEFINITLY LOOK AT HIS POPULARITY AND FAITH AND HAVE ISSUES WITH IT

again has NOTHING to do with his performance prior to the season or during the pro season..

just like his "All American Boy" status means absolutely zero when it comes to this blood thirsty and money driven business is concerned.
He could be an ax murderer or a choir boy and those who evaluate talent for the NFL clubs could care less if he was the second coming of Brady or Breeze or Manning or Rogers.

Personally I hope the youngman ends up in the Hall of Fame..because I too like standup and polite people

But liking him will not even get him a ticket inside the Hall of Fame..and damn sure will not improve his mechanics to be a everyday starting QB at the pro level who leads his team to wins.

2011 we will all be watching..

show me..

Cam Newton will be the next best thing coming out of College and I think he has all the skills to be a great nfl qb.
