Just finished getting a full sleeve and we'll probably start on the other arm in a couple of months.

Why not? It's only skin. I've always wanted to do it and I'm not getting any younger so what the hell.

I have never seen any reason to get anything permanent written on me:shrug:

Whatever works for you  . As the old saying goes, the only difference between those of us with tats and those without is that we don't judge you for not having them.

--and same could be said for piercings I assume.

Reminds me of a childhood aquaintance I met bout 20 years ago when visiting folks.
He was now member of a motorcycle club and on his "colors" was phrase --"Those who ride will decide". I asked Mike --just what is it your group will decide?
--just got a blank stare in return.

With that being said I have nothing against tats--father got 2 while in Navy as did many in service during my stint.

Just not an advocate of facial-hands-neck etc tats--as they will limit any ventures into numerous job markets.

I agree with you on this. I have one on the back of my neck but it, along with all my other tats, can be covered up for job interviews and court appearances.

Damn, I agree with doggie. I would never put any ink on my body either. Besides it seems like everyone is doing these days.

There are people who look down on you for not doing it. So it does goes both ways. I have to admit though, I do like strippers who are covered in tats. I set up a bachelor party a couple years ago and my favorite stripper ended up being the one covered in ink. :0074

I was just on my 1st cruise and I was simply amazed at the # of those 45 and older that had tats--especially women. not just the little cute ones but full blown ones. Most were bright colored so probably done in last few years.
I don't get it
