I’ve been sick for 3 days now. I took the cash out option when cards blew a 3-1 lead and failed to score with bases loaded in the top of the 9 th. I basically tore up a 240 k winning ticket. I’ve been playing 35 years. This new cash out option is a total scam. Don’t ever do it. They put it in your face so you are baited to think again and make another decision on your bet. I hastily hit the button when they blew a bases loaded scoring opportunity in the top of 9 th and saw some money back and hit the button without thinking. Bottom line. I’ll never cash out again. It’s a scam and if the books didn’t have a huge advantage on this, they would never offer it.

bad bad shit. 240 k ticket. Ripped up. Wow

On the course!
You took the buyout for a reason, no? I'm assuming you figured your bet was going to be a loser? So, you have to live with that choice. If the buyout turned out to be the best move, you'd be telling everybody what a great option this is.

What I’m saying is. The cash out option is a scam in the long term. If the books offer this option it’s because the math/analysis says they make more money by offering it. I am a prime example of this.

ANY option they offer is in their favor. On your buyout, they figure the odds of the game going forward, and make you a shitty offer.

BUT, again. If you pocketed the money off of the buyout, you would have been somewhat grateful, I would think.

The reality is, it's just another bet to them.
