You are not an ass at all, your query above is valid. This happens every year with the contests. You'll have someone post an extra selection, or someone post not enough selections. In the case above, I just graded his first 4 selections. Next week he'll only be allowed to post three selections, and if he posts four selections, I'll only grade his first three.

Bottom line, nobody ever gets an extra selection, there are no "extra guesses" for anyone.:0008

Also not trying to be an ass, entered picks in a hurry and did not pay attention. But if I had gotten the fifth pick correct, would it have counted. and then only 3 picks this week. Otherwise, you only graded the first four and the fifth pick was invalid from the start. Just want to check whether it first four graded weekly and just a stupidity tax(my stupidity)for only 3 picks this week.

First off.....you are not being an ass at all.

As mentioned this seems to happen once or twice a season, where somebody posts an extra pick. You make the correct point above though, I made an error in my explanation above. I meant to say that in the FINAL week I would have graded the first 4 selections. You did go 3-2 (5 picks) and got 3 points. So then for September 24th you are only allowed 3 selections (a total of 8 for a two week stretch).

Just trying to "be nice" and keep it fair for everybody involved.

Of course the other option would be zero points, and nobody wants that. You (and others in the past) just made an honest mistake, it happens.
