That WVA game still burns my ass! We've all had bad beats before, but there was absolutely no reason for TCU
to throw the ball on 4th and 1 from WVa's 20 yard line with 20 seconds left in the game and no time outs for WVa.
Sorry for the rant...

Wednesday 11/1

OHIO U +3 -125

I was burnt as well... someone said that WVA was offsides, no whistle so the QB just tossed it up on a free play. Makes sense, WVA was trying to find a way to not win or cover that game the whole 2nd Half.

I hear ya Rander...but why is TCU throwing the ball in the first place? The pass play was called before the off-sides occurred. Maybe the QB wasn't intending to throw the ball, but why are they calling a pass play? Things could go bad for TCU, by calling a pass play...right?

Chas it was 4th down so the clock was going to stop either way. And the guy he threw it to had one on one. That play cost me a 6 unit swing.

I know boomer...but I would think you run the ball there, because it was 4th and 1 on WVa's 20 yard line. The pass could have been picked and returned for a TD.
I know that is a long shot, but why chance it? Throwing the ball just doesn't make sense to me, unless the TCU Head Coach's uncle had a huge bet on the Horned Frogs!
.
