I got married in Mumbai.........I am an excellent driver (Not in a Rainman sorta way) and there is no fucking way I would attempt to drive there. There are no lines on the road and it's a complete free-for-all.......Every time we were in a cab or a rickshaw, I was scared to death. No thanks.

Same in Izmir. Also no road signs whatsoever, trucks barreling down the middle of the road— which aren’t two car lengths wide— blaring their horns in certain ways that only other truck drivers understand— and somehow it all works.
Scared my GF, now wife, so bad she refused to drive AT ALL in the two weeks we wandered around western Turkey visiting Ephesus and other sites.
This was 30 years ago now, and I can’t imagine much has changed. If I ever find myself in that part of the world again, you can be sure I ain’t gonna do any driving

Any third world country. It’s a free-for-all. I guess this list maker never has been to Port-au-Prince, Haiti 🤦🏻‍♂️

You must have got lucky on your stay in Toronto, because trust me when I tell you, Toronto traffic is really really really really really bad. I always laugh when people complain about traffic in their City or Town, I always tell em, "go to Toronto and you'll see what bad traffic is all about. Now quit your bitching and shut up." Ok well I don't say the last part, but ya get the idea :D

That sounds like certain parts of Greece, I took a 1.5 hour taxi ride to "the countryside" and thought for sure I was going to die. Edge of cliffs, no guardrails, big trucks flying up the middle of the road, yet somehow I made ito_O

And in most of those Countries you are sucking up diesel fuel thrown right in your face. Dhaka, Bangladesh isn't Third World (although you could make an argument that it is, there are certain parts that are like 6th world for fucks sake!) but not only if you are sucking up fumes and the smell of shit everywhere, you are seconds away of dying every turn the vehicle makes. Oh and look out for all the animals walking down the middle of the street:eek:

I’ll be in Athens in July. WILL NOT be driving anywhere. I’m At that age that I’ll gladly pay an experienced local driver to haul my ass from the airport to my hotel then I’ll walk or take the metro while seeing the sites.
