Kansas City +105 (2x)
-I'm basing this pay about 90% on the pitching matchup. These 2 teams have almost identical records on the season, but the pitching match-up for tonight is 1-sided. The Royals start Ryan Bergert who is 2-1 with an ERA of 2.61 in 17 appearances (13 starts). He is also 2-1 on the road with an ERA of 2.35, His current form is excellent, going 1-0 in 5 starts with an ERA of 2.28. In his last start, he allowed only 1 hit in 5 IP to the Angels. Meanwhile, Cleveland starts RHP Slade Cecconi who is just 1-3 at home with an ERA of 5.37. In addition, his current form is terrible, going 0-2 in his last 5 starts, allowing 39 hits and 8 HR's in just 25 IP for an ERA of 8.28! Play Kansas City as a very live dog.

-The New York Mets come into tonight's game 8-2 head-to-head this season and 4-games ahead of the Reds for the last wildcard spot in the NL, so every game from here on out matters. Tonight, the Mets start RHP Nolan McLean who is a perfect 4-0 this season with an ERA of 1.37 allowing just 13 hits in 26 1/2 IP with 28 K's. In addition, he is 3-0 at night with an ERA of 1.71 allowing just 11 hits in 20 IP and in his only start vs the Phillies on August 27th, he shut them out on just 4 hits in 8 IP! Philadelphia counters with RHP Aaron Nola who is 3-8 with an ERA of 6.78 on the year. In addition, in his last 4 starts, he has an ERA of 8.38! This is a total pitching mismatch and I recommend playing the Mets............

Milwaukee RL +138
The Brewers come into this contest with the best record in baseball at 89-55 and a nice record on the road at 43-29 for a positive outcome of +$2505! Tonight, they start LHP Jose Quintana who is a nice 11-5 on the year with 3.72 ERA. But, Quintana thrives on the road, going 7-1 with an ERA of 2.57 and is very viable at night with a 7-3 record! In addition, the Brewers have won 6-straight head-to-head meetings between these 2 clubs dating bac to last year. Tonight, Texas counters with LHP Jacob Latz who alternates between starting and relieving making only 6 starts on the year and has only gone more than 5 IP once this year and losing his last start to the D-backs 5-3! Finally, the Brewers hit left-handed pitching at a .271 clip (16 pts more than their average.) Play Milwaukee on the run line............

The Chicago Cubs come into this game with Atlanta with an 81-62 overall record and are firmly entrenched in the #1 wild card seed in the National League. Tonight, they start LHP Shota Imanaga who is a nice 9-6 on the year with an ERA of 3.15 and a 3.18 ERA on the road. Meanwhile, the Braves are only 64-79 on the year for a money-burning -$2908, the worst in the majors! They were just outscored by Seattle 29-8 in a 3-game series and have lost 7 of 10! Tonight, they start RHP Bryce Elder who has been a nightmare this season, going 6-9 with a 5.54 ERA overall and 2-4 with an ERA of 7.01 at home! He had a horrible June-August going just 3-7 with an ERA of 6.58! Play the Chicago Cubs this evening...........

EDIT: to fix typo.

-The Padres come into tonight's game only 1 game behind the LA Dodgers for first place in the NL West and got just the tonic they needed winning 2-straight vs the Rockies smashing out 18 runs in the process. Tonight, they return home for a 7-game homestand where they are 43-25 on the year and start "big game" pitcher Yu Darvish who is 2-2 at home with an ERA of 3.55 and has a record at home of 33-21 the last 3 years. The Reds have lost 6 of 7 on the road and call this "handicapper's intuition" but I think the Padres will make a statement tonight Play San Diego on the runline.....

A's +146
I don't really like the idea of going against Garrett Crochet, but at a large dog price, I like my chances with the A's in this one. first off, the A's have won 2 of 3 and outscored the Angles (on the road) 20-10 in their 3-game series. Tonight, the A's start RHP Luis Morales who has been lights out to start "his" season. He is a perfect 4-0 in his last 5 starts with an ERA of 1.59! In addition, he is 2-0 at home with an ERA even lower at 1.29! Meanwhile, Boston has lost 3 of 4 and start LHP Garrett Crochet, who admittingly is having a great season, but his current form hasn't been good checking in with an ERA of 4.80 in the last 30 days and got shelled his last time out giving up 7 ER's on 9 hits and FOUR HR's in just 6 innings pitched! I can't pass up th A's at home with Morales at a huge dog price. Play the A's!!

Absolutely the worst pregame (write-up) disaster of the season going 0-6 Only the live play saved me from an even worse day. It was a mixture of BAD handicapping and bad breaks and I truly apologize. Here's to hoping that some of you played the live play and made your day a little more tolerable.......Im seriously contemplating not posting live plays anymore (which is a shame to guys that do play them) I will make a post concerning that in the morning. Input much appreciated.............Jr44

certainly you should keep playing and posting them, maybe break them down into a separate and overall record to mitigate the naysayers.

Fuck the naysayers!

IYKYK

He's not a soothsayer, he breaks down games (well), and he shares his findings and thoughts. How much one guy plays, and or wins, shouldn't affect your plays or your bankroll one iota. I love the info that he shares here. I compare it with my own findings and then decide what I wish to play.

I've been here a LONG-ASS time and it never fails that some jackwad comes into a guy's thread and starts shit. He provides this for free. His time is worth something, and his picks are worth even more. If you don't like the way he keeps his record, go make your own picks, in your own thread, and you can post ALL of your winners there with a complete record.
