-Today the Cubs come back home after a 3-game road trip where they are 44-28 and in the #1 slot in the NL Wild Card race. Today, they start LHP Matthew Boyd who is 12-8 on the year with a nice ERA of 2.92! In addition, Boyd is 10-1 at home this season with an ERA of just 2.16, with an opponents BA of .212 and has an ERA of 2.49 during the day! In his last start, he gave up just 2 ER's in 7 innings pitched. Tampa Bay has lost 5 of 6, stands just 34-38 on the road, and has scored only 15 runs in their last 6 games (an avg. of just 2.5 runs per game). Today, they start RHP Shane Baz who has an ERA of 4.94 overall on the season. In addition, he is 3-6 on the road and -4 during the day. -The O's come into this game red-hot going 8-1 their last 9 games and 9-3 their last 12 on the road. Their pitching has been outstanding lately giving up only 14 runs in their 5-1 home stand (an avg. of only 2.33 runs per game) Starting for Baltimore tonight is probably their best pitcher of late LHP Trevor Rogers who is 8-2 this season with an ERA of 1.51 and an opponents batting average of .185! In addition, Rogers is 6-0 hist last 6, giving up only 7 runs in that span for an ERA of 1.17! Also, in his 1 start vs Toronto last year (on the road) he beat the Jays 7-3. Starting for Toronto is RHP Chris Bassett who has an ERA of 4.34 at night and Toronto has gone 1-7 in his last 8 starts! Play Baltimore as a live dog.

The Tigers come into tonight's game taking 2 out of 3 from the Yankees (in New York) scoring 26 runs in the process! Tonight, they start LHP Tarik Skubal, who after a rough patch, is back to his true Cy Young self. He is 4-1 in his last 4 starts for an ERA of 1.04 and has allowed more than 1 run once in this span. In addition, he is 13-4 with a 2.14 ERA overall this season. Meanwhile, the Marlins are just 3-7 their last 10 and start RHP Sandy Alcantara who is having a terrible year going just 8-12 with an ERA of 5.67! Although, he has been pitching better as of late, his last time out he gave up 4 ER's on 7 hits in 6 IP taking the loss. Play Detroit on the run line at a bargain of a price of -110.
