Regular Season YTD: +182.01u
MLB Playoffs YTD: -1.90u

Put these in overnight:

Cleveland -112 (3x)
-Cleveland staved off elimination yesterday and I like them to take Game #3 today. Cleveland is 6-1 their last 7 games head-to-head with Detroit and (I know it's getting old) but they are 19-4 their last 23 games! They are 46-37 at home, a positive outcome of +$1562 while Detroit is just 42-41 on the road, a negative outcome of -$705! Detroit is just 3-13 their last 16 and barely made it into the playoffs. The Guardians start RHP Slade Cecconi today who is 7-7 on the season with an ERA of 4.10. In his last 5 outings, Cecconi is 2-1 with a nice ERA of 3.90 including 2 home outings where he allowed 0 ER's in 15 IP. In addition, he faced Detroit twice this season allowing 3 ER's in 12 innings for an ERA of 2.25! Starting for the Tigers is RHP Jack Flaherty who went 8-15 on the season with a 4.64 ERA and had a record of 3-7 with and ERA of 5.37 on the road, giving up 93 base runners in 68 1/3 inning pitched. In addition, he went 0-3 vs Cleveland this year and lost by a combined score of 17-1! Play Cleveland as a 3x play.

San Diego +100 (2x)
-almost all of the trends and stats point to a cubbies win in this game, but im going against the grain and taking the Padres (call it handicapper's intuition) San Diego starts RHP Yu Darvish who is a very pedestrian 5-5 on the year, but is 3-0 in his career vs the Cubs. Darvish is known as a "big game" pitcher and if he falters early, the Padres have the major's best bullpen to back him up. In other words, he will only stay in as long as he is effective. Meanwhile, the Cubs start RHP Jamison Taillon who is 11-7 on the year with a nice 3.68 ERA, but lost his only outing vs the Padres this year lasting only 4 1/3 innings in a 10-4 drubbing. In addition, Taillon has a poor playoff record going 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA. I understand that this is an offbeat writeup but I believe that the Cubs should be favored by more than -110 which may or may not be telling and I may be biased but its your choice to play or fade. I recommend playing San Diego as a 2x play!

NY Yankees -155 (3x)
NY Yankees RL +139
-The Yankees avoided elimination last night and I believe they take the series tonight. New York is a blistering 51-32 at home this season and have won 12 of their last 14 games. Tonight, they start RHP Cam Schlittler who is 4-2 at home this year and is 4-0 his last 4 starts with a 2.53 ERA. In his last start, he shutout Baltimore (at home) on 2 hits with 9 K's in 7 IP. Meanwhile, Boston starts LHP Connelly Early who is making his 5th major league start, Despite pitching well, he is 0-3 his last 3 starts and may buckle under the pressure of pitching in the playoffs, especially at Yankee Stadium. In addition, New York hit .267 against lefties this year Play NY Yankees for (3x) and NY on the R/L

You're a very good writer and enjoy reading your write-ups. "Blistering" has edged me closer to make my first baseball bet this season!!
