yeah, i didn't even touch upon motivation in my write-up, but i agree. i gotta think the gamecocks, as a new D1 program, are still fired up for bowl games. this is their 3rd. meanwhile, troy had an unexpected run to the sun belt championship and they were only down 3 (as a big dog) with 4 minutes left against jimmy mad. hard to say if they can recover from that. plus, they barely get to travel for this game.

Smitty, I have to finalize a bowl contest tomorrw. Do you have any games that really stand out to you this year? I’m still in the fence on quite a few. TIA

i haven't done a deep dive on anything beyond tonight. but i do love Miami on Saturday. or, to be more exact, i think A&M is a fraud.
