Yeah, that was the difference. Maye was playing scared most of the game.
It's incredibly impressive that they reached the SB with two rookies on the left side of their OL.
So I'm adding up all my bets. Thanks in LARGE part to Barner getting the first TD (still a sucker bet!), I had a very, very good game. Even with losing my Henderson and Maye rushing bets by a total of 3 yards. And I could have had both at numbers that would have won. Oh well.
It could be the alcohol talking... but I'm still kinda stunned at how much I won on what felt like a shitty game.
Feels like it could have been SO much better. Even with those two close losses... I didn't bet the 2H to be the higher scoring half and I didn't bet the 4th quarter to be the highest-scoring. Got scared based on some of the lines.

I wish I could bet on Maye to never reach another SB. I think he's a fine young QB (one of the best in the league, for sure), but I think that bet would be at a great price right now.
I anticipate sticking with tradition and betting NE to miss the playoffs next year. And maybe Seattle as well. If anyone was paying attention, that is NOT a great football team. Darnold is still a joke. Hell, the entire first half it looked like he was TRYING to throw an INT.

Look Smitty, I know it’s your thread but I have to be real. When you just treat life like it is a fantasy forum then you are good. That’s fine. But when you step over lines in life and pretend this is the internet and not the real world some of us are actually serious about, you become annoying. Very annoying because I actually joined Madjacks in 1999 under a different Patrick Bateman name.
Congrats on whatever you won tonight via wish-washy ego posts because my attention span for bullshit is zero. I have no idea nor care. Smitty - Just wanted to thank you for all the work you put in during the CFB Postseason/Bowls and the NFL Playoffs. Altho I don't always agree with you. I do know what it as much appreciated. And I think most MadJackers would agree with me. I know first-hand the effort it takes by doing 3-5 baseball write-ups every day for 8 months. Cheers to you my friend..........
