furman -1: paladins likely have a big circle around this matchup with the bucs, after dropping the last two games to their socon nemesis. two weeks ago in johnson city, furman blew a 42-27 second half lead to lose 75-71 in overtime, thanks to 21 turnovers. last year, also on etsu's home court, they led 67-60 with less than 3 minutes left, only to choke their way to a 72-69 loss. but tonight they get the bucs in greenville, where they hold a 10-1 record in the last 11 matchups. and don't forget furman still stands in a 3-way tie for 4th place in the socon with the top 5 receiving byes in the conference tournament with the winner taking the automatic slot in march madness. i'm looking for a focused effort from the paladins tonight to bring home the money.
