A CYO coach knows you have to foul there. Absolutely inexcusable. Why didn’t Clara foul?
They foul they win! I think the coach tried to call a TO but it obviously wasn’t grantedWhy didn’t Clara foul?

Your picks from teams in your area have always been golden!i was planned to do this big writeup om furman plus the 20- yesterday, but ended up rushing home from the office to ride with my wife an hour and a half out of town to watch my granddaughter's h/s softball team play a double header. didn't get back til 10 pm. of course the paladins cover wire to wire. shoulda, coulda, woulda.
But... did you bet them at +1.5 in that second game?we got beat by the defending regional champ 11-4 and 6-5 in the game my granddaughter pitched because of one of the most blatantly corrupt call reversals ive seen in a while. basicly a homer ump at third overruled the home plate ump's call at first base and allowed the tying and winning runs to score. the home team is known for this shit, think they haven't lost a home game in 4 years. stealing from children, pissed me off. ol' loophole made their ears burn from the bleachers.![]()

I'm an umpire for high school and college softball. Not knowing the play that happened, but going by what it sounds like you're saying, it was a two man crew, a home ump and a field ump. The mechanic that exists is that the field ump has all calls at first, even when he is in the calling position behind the shortstop. He also has the first call in the infield. Many people, coaches included, think he shouldn't have the call at first because he's behind the shortstop. But with a runner at 2nd, the field ump is suppose to move into the infield, behind the pitcher's mound and make the call at first on any grounder in the infield. The home ump should be coming up the 3rd base line to make a call at 3rd on the runner moving from 2nd to 3rd on the play.we got beat by the defending regional champ 11-4 and 6-5 in the game my granddaughter pitched because of one of the most blatantly corrupt call reversals ive seen in a while. basicly a homer ump at third overruled the home plate ump's call at first base and allowed the tying and winning runs to score. the home team is known for this shit, think they haven't lost a home game in 4 years. stealing from children, pissed me off. ol' loophole made their ears burn from the bleachers.![]()
Well. Like I said, it's the field umps call at first. You originally said the 3rd base ump overruled the home ump. But a call at first should be the field umps call.i understand the mechanics of umpire teamwork, just dont understand why the the home plate umpire gets to overrule the ump that made the call.
