From the Rockies to the west is in for hard times water-wise this year.We are in a drought in Colorado, snow fall down 60% YTD. We had 3 snow falls of significance. I watered trees and bushes all winter to keep them alive.
You bet, My trip to S FL is ending Sunday . I will continue with the watering until we get precipitation. Irrigation was turned on to trees, bushes, Kentucky blue grass. I have 2 acres of Native grass, which turns to dirt if you do not water. Basin aquifers are dependent on rain & snow underground sources. I have 2 stand tripods sprinklers that keeps enough moisture to stay green. If I get lazy the grass dries up and dies.....From the Rockies to the west is in for hard times water-wise this year.
