- The Hawks' starting lineup shot 14-of-32 (43.8-percent) from three-point range in Saturday's game. Atlanta won the battle of the three-point line and still lost by double digits. What can Atlanta improve on? I'm expecting another double-digit win by the Knicks.

Read again.............i said the Hawks STARTING lineup........which is true. In addition, with all due respect, if you are going to come into my thread and pick the other side, at LEAST provide some reasoning as to why. Don't just say I'm on Atlanta. I'm fully open to DISCUSSIONS about the game and why I may be on the wrong side. That's what this site is (and always has been) all about and i welcome banter between the 2 sides.........Cheers and G/L Jr44

Minnesota +8 (3x)
-Denver earned a 116-105 home win over the Timberwolves in Game 1 after trailing by double digits in the first half. Minnesota's Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels each had some rust to shake off after both returned from injuries. That duo combined to shoot 13-of-33 (39.4-percent) from the floor, including 2-of-13 from three-point range. As was the case with a handful of games over the weekend, the Nuggets received some home cooking when it came to the free throw line. Denver made 30 free throws compared to 14 by the T-Wolves. Minnesota was evenly-matched with Denver in every area except the free throw line. With Edwards getting back into the mix and hopefully not quite as large of a free throw gap, I'll take the points with Minnesota.................
