NY York/Philadelphia Over 213' (3x)
Game 2 closed with a total of 213.5, which is where Game 3 has opened. I'm expecting to see a few more points in this one. Wednesday's game was on pace to fly over the total before the Sixers hit a wall in the fourth quarter (12 points scored after 90 in the first three quarters). Even though OG Anunoby's potential absence will be felt on the offense end, his defense may be even more valuable. Between Landry Shamet, Jordan Clarkson and Deuce McBride, the Knicks have enough pieces on offense to fill Anunoby's scoring void. I'm not sure the same can be said on the defensive end where Anunoby is often tasked with guarding the opposing team's best player. Karl-Anthony Towns has averaged less than 24 minutes per game in the first two contests because of foul trouble, and I would assume that he's going to play a larger factor tonight. Philadelphia can probably find a path to points with Embiid in or out of the lineup. The Sixers did it for 36 minutes on Wednesday before the wheels fell off in the fourth quarter. With both teams looking to play fast, I'm anticipating a high-scoring affair in Philadelphia tonight. Play New York/Philadelphia over the total.
