I'm not a gamer
This was recommended by a friend
I don't need the keyboard or headphones or mouse
More than likely my last computer purchase $550 is my ceiling

Build quality:
In product description it’s stated that the graphics card is a GT1030 when it’s actually a GT730 paired with windows 11 which it’s unable to be used with and is also no longer supported by NVIDIA, don’t get scammed like me

Give me a little time. i don't know what "argb" ram is. My son sent one similar to this (if not the same one). With a gaming computer you get the lights and usually a higher end graphics card. The lower price and low review probably means it's not a great gaming computer but could be a good overall computer because of the specs.

The I7 is a good Intel Processor but they should show how many cores and a ghz speed.
32 GB of DDR4 Ram would be good - Again a small red flag on the way this is shown.
2TB SSD - Great
I'm unfamiliar with the graphics card but would and should be fine for anything you do. Assuming you're NOT a single Pro First Person Shooter tournament player. ;)

*** Renewed ***

This computer was bought and sent back. They're calling it renewed because they either added the colors, upgraded to Windows 11, something that took a "refurbished" computer and they did enough to it to make it a "renewed" computer. I personally buy all of my computers renewed or refurbished because most the time someone bought it, couldn't figure it out, sent it back. I did finally have a bad computer, a hardware motherboard issue that I couldn't fix but it was the first in about 12 refurbs. I'm telling you my personal preference, some people won't buy them.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT LEARN HOW TO TURN OFF THE LED LIGHTS SO IF YOU BUY IT AND HATE THE NEON LIGHTS ON YOUR COMPUTER, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET HELP FROM ME.

I'm telling you the same thing I told me 10 year old.

That's a good price for those specs less my ignorance on the graphics card. I may buy the same one for my son...

Mine came with a remote control that turns them on and off and changes colors and whatever else it does that I never explored. I turned it off and never went back. I can't imagine being stuck with them on.

I can give a quick update on it.

Jack was correct, it comes with a remote for turning off the lights, although I think the Ram colors are hard coded.

These are old Dell Optiplex which were converted for gamer computers. We actually run one of these as our server at the office and I'll probably use this one as my new server since I'm having headaches between Windows 11 and older machines and being networked together.

The good news is these were built for business so your friend was correct, this is a good computer. The processor and Ram plus the huge SSD hard drive should last at least 10 years without having any major concerns (Hardware)

They also used a low end GPU which is good enough to play some basic games but not really setup for a true gamer computer. Also on the cheaper side is that they cut a window out on the side and have a clear plastic lens over it. You could actually accidentally press through it so I don't like that. I also was missing a rubber gripper on the bottom so it sits cockeyed and there is a gap where the side should meet with the front flush, but doesn't. They also used stickers that say PRO GAMING on the side to make it cool...

One other headache was without the built in wifi you either have to connect with ethernet the first time or (as i did) went and downloaded the driver for the wifi dongle and installed it from disk. You are suppose to be able to use the wifi dongle but because it is an executable file, when I clicked, Install from disk, it did not read the WIFI dongle as a drive, which it should have. Not sure, but once I got it setup, everything worked great.

I did have to go research how to create a local login to bypass the "enter your microsoft account" - It was very easy to do and now I'm up and running.

That was about it for the bad parts. I haven't run anything else other than add Chrome and Adobe. The NVIDIA control panel doesn't work without logging in or creating an account. This type of shit is becoming annoying as it's a ploy to gather information.

The computer is fast. I got the curved 27" monitor for an extra $50 which was cheap. It is not high end gaming computer worthy but it is a good monitor and you'd pay an extra $40-75 if you were purchasing a similar one online (cheap)

The computer behind the little Optiplex is the gaming computer I bought for Ty - It's a MSI, similar specs with newer Ram and a much better GPU. The window is actual glass and you can feel the higher quality compared to the Optiplex. I bought it used and was able to save $360 but it still ran more than the Optiplex. I'll get it setup for him for Birthday (Nov) or Christmas unless he does something to get disowned before then.

Happy Gaming Old School

Sorry - OS - That bluetooth problem is part of the dongle issue where they really should have had an integrated wifi & bluetooth

i'll double check the specs to make sure mine was an actual i7

The headache that will continue until the end of time is the software side - whatever format your basketball docs are in, THEY, know exactly what program you should use to open it. Didn't work???? Try upgrading the software and that'll fix it.

kick, I said Dongle, not Donger, but glad to see he found some food
