Here’s how Bitcoin is currently playing out for January. I’ll continue to trade this pattern until it invalidates my thinking.

Also SPF on the Daily of Bitcoin. May go down and create another SFP on the trend line above before our move up. <---- we got the move up as expected.

Bitcoin is flat. Binance, Wintermute, and the other market makers are suppressing price by selling off Bitcoin into any price expansion.

My money EDIT: (ALT portfolio) is in currently at a significant loss and I’m currently switching to stocks and precious metals to open trade opportunities

Good luck on the next move.

See ya in February.

Really great run up on Bitty this week. I'm seeing some bearish divergence here, and not going to get greedy on this scalp. It just tagged a major Fibonacci level, so I've taken profits and will look for a re-entry after it cools off. It may push up, but usually on Thurs. are for retracement. Taking the family north for some snowboarding & skiing, will post on re-entry if it presents itself around 94-95, not sure yet. I don't think anyone shorts on MJ's, so I'll leave that out for today.

EDIT
Also, just for spot holders, it could easily run up to $100-103k as well. If Im posting its for leveraged scalps. Just to clarify. Dont fomo, and take profits.

Looks like it did decide to go for liquidity lower. Weekly close in an hour on bitcoin. Ski trip was a blast. Caught a few bull elk walk up at sun rise this morning. Will take a look at the chart but will probably wait until market open tomorrow.

Markets work like this across Asia - London - US

1. Accumulation
2. Manipulation
3. Distribution

Fractals on time frames.

So you observe which market is assigned which role say on the daily, then you know when they manipulate and then the real move to distribute.

That’s the secret. Couple that with SFPs which trigger a lower time frame move daily \ 1hr and you’re golden.

There’s your ticket. And if you’re still having trouble with it, feed the chart into Grok. He can pretty much identify cancer, why not something as simple as candles on a chart?

January has been an amazing month and profits were taken last week. I’m not interested in trying to predict Bitcoin, I’ll wait and react so I’m going to take today off. It looks like it wants lower…

Think of 84K as the key floor. As long as BTC holds above it, market structure remains intact. The recent dip looks like a reset and weak-hand shakeout, not a crash.

If BTC rejects 93K–95K but holds 84K, that’s just consolidation. A clean loss of 84K would mean a deeper reset into the low 80Ks or mid 70Ks before the next bullish leg.

Where did you go?

I took some off the table last week too. I used Kraken and they are a pleasure to deal with. My money was in my bank account in a little less than 4 hours. I moved it to Schwab into dividend stocks. Got me some more EPD and finally got some MO.

Went up to the Flagstaff area, Ft Valley, and snowboarded at Snowbowl. Arizona has a lot of outdoor activities. We went to Williams, AZ, and by train to the Grand Canyon late last year with the grandparents and had so much fun we all went back up and got a house with a mother-in-law suite so she could get away and rest as needed. Definitely the way to go!
Saw some bull elk, which was a bonus.

***Yeah, Kraken is great! Smart move on diversification. :smilies20
