I'm trying to see 100 bands/ performances this year and post at least some video here.

I don't want to include local cover bands or any of that crap. Many of them will be from the various festivals I attend, Bonnaroo, NOLA jazz festival etc..., but that will only account for about 50 or so I'm guessing.... give or take. Anyway, my first one will be this weekend for Spafford @ The Kessler in I think it is, I have been there a number of times. They take out the theater seats and the acoustics are great. Stafford is a bad ass band with smashing ass musicians on every instrument, especially guitar and drums. I'll post some video and shit but more importantly, (I may have eaten a few to many grams of Mushies...iykyk) who and where are the videos of some ripping ass shows you guys and gals and plus have seen. Post them here so we can all enjoy.

Go to louder than life in Louisville, Kentucky in September. My wife and I go every year, and you will be able to fill your number. In my opinion, it’s way better than any festival anywhere else.

I haven't been to that particular festival. I have been to Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville last year. Louder is more of a heavy metal scene and I prefer the jam, funk, blues, rock scene.

This was Andy Frasco on 12/19. I more or less just wanted to make sure I can load a video- but Andy is always a great show.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at the Granada Theater. Fantastic show. It's all about the lead with this band. All talented guys but the front end steals the show.

Neal Frances at the Kessler in Dallas. A true entertainer. The drummer is outrageously good and Neal brings the heat with some killer vocals and an arsenal of great songs that have got moving and grooving baby. I was about 4 grams of Mushies into the show at this point and I was thrown back to an early 70s vibe and making friends. Loved it. Highly recommend this band to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent night of entertainment. There's no searing guitar solos or any of that. Neal gets it done on the keys and a silky smooth voice. Yeah he's great.

Rival Sons from back in October I believe at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth. They are very good. The dude can sing the phone book and make it rock. Not my favorite venue but this was a pit show so I dug it.

Phish in Austin Texas. They blow the place up every single time. If you've never seen them- run as fast a you can to see them before they stop touring. Just an incredible experience every time.

The first one is Marcus King at Bonnaroo last year. I've seen him a number of times and he never fails to impress. The camera work is a bit shaky but LSD has that effect.
The second one is my favorite band currently. DOGS IN A PILE. They're amazing. All 5 members absolutely crush their instruments. Best live show around right now.

I almost forgot Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Another excellent group of musicians that know how to perform. Don't miss them if they play near you.
