So, now Biden "brought" them in?

:smilies3
yup. pretty impressive for a sleepy guy. i mean, not "fall asleep at his own trial" sleepy, but pretty sleepy. he's been driving the bus back and forth across the border non-stop ever since he *ahem* lost the election.

one reason, and one reason only... she thought it would curry favor with the dipshit at the top of the republican ticket. cruelty is a feature, not a bug.

oddly, i haven't heard any response from him. maybe this doesn't disqualify her. well, not with him, because he wanted the most attractive option.

anyway, it kinda is a dem vs rep issue... no chance in hell a dem would ever brag about killing a dog. or any other form of animal abuse. the politicians you keep voting for are constantly trying to outdo each other with their acts of cruelty. HEY, LET'S PUT BARBED WIRE IN THE RIO GRANDE!! oh, it's ok if it's brown people desperate for a better life?

anyway, it does give me a shred of hope for you, hearing that you love your cat. i love dogs and cats, but you can't leave dogs for a few days while you take a trip. and you don't have to walk cats in the middle of a blizzard. so we have cats. two of which are the first real pets I ever had (goldfish just don't count). they are 16 now and i already dread when the time comes.

so, yeah, what noem did is inconceivable to me. there are no bad dogs, only bad owners. if she was unable to properly train the dog, she should have given it away. the fact that she thought shooting it was her best option... she's a horrible human being.
My wife told me about Noem killing her dog and its unforgivable.... We haven't traveled in a few years because our dogs have melt downs if we go without them. But everyday they are my biggest joy, love them, and we have lots of fun . Animals are the best. I feed a ton of squirrels, chipmunks, and birds out back, and head deep into the woods to feed a fox every couple days, mostly helping him through this dreaded winter, and now because its " Kits" season . They keep taking all the forestry around us condensing it to fewer and fewer square miles. Tough for them to survive. I've had fat neighbors , that have their food delivered, tell me the foxes will figure it out. Fat uncompassionate ignorant fucks!

Yeah, 3 of our cats are now 17, 18, and 19. The 19-year old may actually be the healthiest of all 3 and she's been constantly congested most of her life. Her breathing sounds like a baby elephant. The 17-year old was just diagnosed with a detached retina 2 days ago, and now we think the other one may have detached, because suddenly she's basically blind. Walking into walls... struggling with stairs (we have a split-level ranch, so it's all stairs)... it's so sad. They also diagnosed her with high blood pressure, which can cause the retina to detach. So she's on blood pressure meds now, and the hope is her retina(s) will reattach in a few weeks. In the meantime... it's gonna be a tough few weeks.

Oh, and the 18-year old gets steroids every other day for her Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

So, yeah, no travelling for us. I'm hoping for a Vegas trip in December, but she'd stay home.

Anyway... you fatten up the squirrels and chipmunks to give to the fox, don't you?? Smart! :)
