    On life support when it comes to bowls, GJ. Gonna be tbe Buckeyes or Bust for me.
    GOOD THING the sheet was very good to me early in the season cause It woulda been a sorry ass football season. Can't figure out what's wrong either. I didn't play them, but the thang had FIVE consecutive losah in the bowls. Hope you're doing good. Hope it turns that around with O.S.

    GJ, I just posted a little about why I haven't been posting. I was up by a fair amount when the season ended and now, after the USC game, i'm up BETTER than a "fair" amount (STILL, I'm only a minnow compared to some of the whales around here.. LOL). . Funny thing - I HATE, HATE giving profits back even more than I hate losing. Kinda weird.

    Haven't been visiting this forum either for awhile and now that I saw your post, I'm really sorry I didn't get around to posting the USC game cause I got a feeling you woulda joined me with a heavier than usual bet on that game. Dang.

    NOT tempting you, but I do have a few decent priced hosses posting in the Horse Palace (forum) for today, Tue$. Tuesday has usually been my LUCKY day for hosses.

    I'll start feeding the SS tonight or tomorrow for the weekend picks. Hope you can pull a few more wieners from the list.

    G.J. let me know how the practice run did; it should have done well.

    I don't care for the Texans, but don't go by me cause NFL ain't my thing. They are too eratic and their first string QB has been MIA lately. Staub or whatever his name is. I think the Texans have no consistancy. Again, STICK TO YOUR OWN PICKS, but I like teams that do have consistancy like S.F., N.E., G.B., even Cinn. and Jags, T.B. for BAD consistancy to fade :)

    It doesn't cost a thing except for the 5 mins. it takes to write 6 teams (even just the $$ picks) on a piece of paper, circle the top 2, the next 2, and the next 2 right from the $$ picks, make believe you put $5 on each two teamer, figure you lose $5 for each two-teamer that loses, collect $18 ($13 + $5) for each that wins. And you could take the option of making a make believe play on the side for $11 or $22 on your best bet of the day thingy. See how it does.

    Still, I think your idea of just spot picking plays from the $$ and maybe adding a couple of your own or from other cappers could work too. Trying out different ways to playem was very much worth my while doing stuff like that on paper and it really doesn't take much time and NO money either.

    GREAT! Some things took me longer to figure out and I don't want to share them with 1000+ "zombies". You might want to try this on paper first, but it works pretty good for me....

    - pick out 6 good plays and pair them up to make 3 two-teamer parlays You can pick 8 teams and make 4 parlays. It's important that NO team can appear in more than one of the parlays.

    Now, OPTIONALLY, take your best pick for the week (Usually it's best that it is not in any of the parlays, but, if you REALLY like it then you can use one of them as this side, single play. Put enough on this side, regular play so that it, at least, covers the cost of the parlays. Putting a little more is OK, but NOT too much more.

    It's prob. not a good idea to post your picks in a way that reveals this "system". If it's sucessful, the zombies will all employ it and that could really upset the apple cart. You can just post 6, 1 unit plcks and a 2 unit pick (the side play). OK?
