    conference is 3-0 and unc is about to take the court. fsu, maryland and miami would go 2-1 in this field of 64 teams. as bad as nc state has played the past 2 weeks all it took was a team from the pac team to get them a win.

    wingate almost beats tenn. davidson gives osu a battle in dayton, losing by 8 after osu gets 23 free throws to only 7 for davidson. duke has advanced. unc and nc state play later tonight. i admit to being partial but this is a great place to live!

    :mj07: usa today just posted the academic performance for the players for each of the 64 schools. hampton and kent state are the worst but texas just squeaked in at 60th of all 64 schools. davidson and villanova are the only 2 that scored 1000. i believe texas was at 861.
